College English Intro

I’m grateful to Ryan’s College English Teacher for making him right a three-page paper about himself before the start of his senior year. I’m sure that he thought it was a pain that was intruding on his summer, but it’s a rare chance to see his thoughts in writing and read his reflections on his own life to that point. I love the playfulness of his writing. To be honest, his writing reads a lot like how he talked. Voice to text wasn’t a thing back then, but I could imagine him dictating this whole paper. Enjoy this look into 17-year old Ryan!

(One note: Often, friendships can fade or change after high school is over, but Mitchell remained one of Ryan’s dearest and closest friends for the rest of his life. The whole Clark family has always been a blessing to Ryan and to us.)
